Take 23 South and go past Route 287. Bottom of the hill on route 23 go through the light and take exit Boulevard/Pompton Plains), make a loop and get back on Route 23, for approx. 500 feet. Take exit to Riverdale (right). Take the first right turn, Riverdale road, see Armory. Go across bridge when road forks; bear to the left onto Ramapo Avenue. Go to the third left turn. You will see Hersfield Park sign, go down hill and see field on right.
